Diaz-Taylor vows are solemnizedMiss Norma Diaz, daughter of Francisco C. Diaz, and John E. Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Taylor were united in holy matrimony during ceremonies held Saturday, October 13 at 1 p.m. in St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Dearborn Heights, Michigan.The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. Octavia C. Diaz and Mr. and Mrs. Trinidad Flores, both of EaglePass.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of silk organza over satin fashioned with fitted bodice and long transparent sleeves. Appliques of lace adorned the neckline bodice and sleeve cuffs of the gown. Her full veil of silk illusion was edged with lace and fell from a juliette cap of lace and satin. She carried a bouquet of pearlized orange blossoms adorned with greens.Matron of honor was Mrs. Frances Martin, sister of the bride.Best man was Paul Taylor, the groom’s brother.Bridesmaids were Lolly Diaz, sister of the bride, Terry Taylor, Marsha Vasquez, Cindy Taylor, Janice Belanger.Groomsmen were Ken Martin, Tom Bigelow and Jack Allen.Janine Belanger was flower girl and ring bearer was Joey Berrelez.A reception followed at the VFW Post 7910.
