A very pretty wedding occuredat the home of George Powell Northwest of the city Nov. 16th in which Miss Emma J. Powell of the town of Delton and Mr. Charles R. Ott of Baraboo, were united in the holy bonds of matrimony, Rev. Dr. J. M. Melear of the First M. E. church, preforming the rites, using the beautiful and impressive ring ceremony.Promptly at 8 p. m. to the sweet strains of the wedding march the bridal party took their place beneath an arch of pine boughs trimmed with white chysanthemums. The bridecarried white chrysanthemums and the brides-maid carried pinkcarnations.The couple were attended by MissEva Oct, sister of the groom, and Mr. Charles. Hackett.After congratulations the happy company retired to the second floor where beautifully decorated tables awaited them laden with a dainty repast which all enjoyedAbout forty relatives were present, including Mrs. Ira Brown of Madison. There were many beautiful and useful presents.They will be at home to their friends after Nov. 20th at the groom’s farm northwest of thecity.
