Utarrieb:In Chicago, on the 15th instant, at the residence of Dr. Geo. H. Dadd, by the Rev. W. II. Ryder, D. I) , Mr. Geort.k C. Dadd, Jr., and Miss Mklissa J. Dknman, daughter of Dr. Enoch Denman, U. S. Mail Agent on the Chicago, Alton and St. Louis Railroad.Miss D. is the only child of Dr. Enoch Denman an extraordinary father—a man of inimitable qualities, possessing the most extensive range of talents, as thousands east raust know, who have listened to his numerous lectures on politics and other subjects. Better than all, he, and all about him, is loyal to the core.— His only son the late Theodore F. Denman, a veteran of the 12tli Illinois Infantry, fell mortally wounded at the battle of Itesaca, Ga., on the 16th of May, 1864. We have every reason to believe that in this instance patriotism is united for life. Dr. George H. Dadd served his country two years as Surgeon, oft’Key West, receiving the highest encomiums of the Surgeon General of the fleet—while his now wife, after leaving school with the first honors, chose the typographical profession, and continued to work at it assiduously up to the day of her marriage. He has secured a “fat take.”
