▲ Quiet Church Wedding.A wedding was solemnized at the Catholic church, last Monday morning, in which a great many people feel an interest, and which came to them as considerable of a surprise. The contracting parties were Miss Corda Burnside of this city and Mr. Harry Stanton, a prosperous young farmer of Palo Alto township. The ceremony was performed by Father Loftus, the parish priest, at 9 o’clock the bridal attendants being Mr. Daniel Stanton and Miss Mary McManus, and the only guests present were the groom’s mother and Mr. and Mrs. Andes Turclc. After the ceremonythe party was driven to the home of the bride where the wedding breakfast was served. We understand that Mr. and Mrs. Stanton will make their home on the Stanton farm south of Newton and we hope their lives may be bright with the happiness and prosperity they both deserve.
