Barbershop UnitNow MeetingCosden BuildingcetliloBarbershop lingers have i schanged their meeting place, but c they still get together for close harmony every Tuesday night.The new meeting place is thelounge of Coeden Petroleum Corporation headquarters building, and the time is 8 p m. Any person who just plain likes to sing, especially the old melodies and barbershop tunes, is invited toparticipateTuesday there were two visitors, Lt. Gary R Coad and Capt. J. H. Frey of Webb AFB President of the local chapter for the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America is Lt Jim Brecker, and the director is Ira I Schantx. 'ii,The chapter now is pointing toward Christmas carolling at the VA and State Hospitals. It aim is looking ahead to the sixth annual “Round Up of Harmony,” set for next March or April.
