Army, son of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Molar of Lancaster, Ohio. Officiating at the service was Rabbi Franklin Cohn.-^ The bride, who was given in mar-Sorority Obsex*vesFounding CeremonyPhi Sigma Sigma, University ofriage by her uncle, Mr. Phillip Burg, wore a gown of white taffeta fashioned with a fitted bodice, sweetheart neckline and extendingWashington sorority, celebrated the *nto ashort, circular, ruffledanniversary of the founding of its national organization with a formal dinner, Thursday evening, November 16, at the Edmond Meany hotel. The first chapter was found-train. She had a fingertip veil and carried a bouquet of gardenias, white orchids and stephanotis.Only attendant was Mrs. Robert A. Borish, sister of the bride, whoed at Hunter’s college November , wore rose taffeta and net, carryinga bouquet of pink pom poms anddahlias. Her husband was best man.26, 1913.Mrs. June Shapiro Cohn, president of the house, and Mrs. Florence J. Beekman, housemother, welcomed those present. Miss Helen Kramer told of the history of Beta Beta chapter on the Washington campus, and Miss Joan Brashem related the history of the national organization.In charge of arrangements was Miss Beady Sussman, who was assisted by Miss Natalie Werner.Council to MeetTuesday EveningThe Evening Group, Seattle Council of Jewish Women will meet Tuesday evening, November 21, at 8:30 p. m. at the home of Port of Embarkation. Lillian Clein, Chairman, 3617 East Cherry Street.Holiday gift boxes for hospital-Following the ceremony, a buffet supper was served to membersof the immediate families.The young couple left for a three weeks’ trip to Ohio, where they visited the bridegroom’s parents. For her going away ensemble, the new Mrs. Molar chose a silver grey suit with black accessories and a corsage of white and green orchids.Now attending the University of Washington, the bride is a student in the School of Drama. LieutenantMolar is a graduate of Ohio State University where he was affiliated with the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity. Immediately after graduation, he entered the armed forces and is now stationed at the SeattleAt the conclusion of their trip, the young‘couple returned to make their temporary home in Seattle.
