MARRIAGESGREATWOOD-LEE51 Miss Phyllis Yvonne Lee, daughter '■of Mrs Hilda Lee, Hutchinson, Kan-s sas and Mi*. Robert Greatwood, Buf-, falo, son of Mr. and Mrs. Merle Great-—wood. Arcade, were united in marriage, Monday, October 19, 1942 at }7:30 p. m., in Emanuel Lutheran f Church, the Rev. E. T Einersen per-, forming the ceremony. The bride was; [ given in marriage by her grandfather.:, Baskets of white chrysanthemums [ and palms decorated the church. Two seven-branch candelabra were also 'used► Mrs. Karl Johnson rendered the wedding music Miss Opal Briggs, cousm of the bride, sang, “Calm Is . the Night’* and “At Dawning.”The bride’s sister, Theda Lee, was maid of honor and the bridesmaids, ;were Jeanette Dukelow and Mona’ Jane Evans. i1 George Greatwood, Arcade, N. Y.f brother of the bridegroom, was best iman and ushers were Earl Gardner ; and William Macauley, Jr.! The bride wore a princess styled! frock with a short train. The bodice ‘had a sweetheart neckline and long fitted sleeves. The fingertip veil bordered with lace was held in place by a tiara and orange blossoms. She wore a strand of pearls, gift of thef bridegroom, and her bouquet was two white orchids and white roses.. Her sister’s dress was faded rose taffeta and net. The torso bodice was styled with sweetheart neckline and short sleeves and the skirt was I of alternate tiers of taffeta and net. She wore a shoulder-length pink net ‘veil and her bouquet was Johanna • HiU roses.Miss Dukelow wore pale pink 1 taffeta and Miss Evans aqua crepe.! Their bouquets were pale pink rosebuds.A small reception for the families followed the ceremony. *Mr. and Mrs. Greatwood will make their home in Buffalo, N. Y. IMrs. Greatwood was graduated from Hutchinson high school in 1941 and attended Junior college last year.Mr. Greatwood was graduated from Arcade high school and is em-| ployed by the American Brass company in Kenmore.
