Zea-Chapln.A pretty home wedding wa9 solemnized Saturday evening at six o’clock when Miss Maybelle Lucille Chapin became the bride of Russell Byran Zea at the - home of her parents, 116 North C street.Rev. Howard Zea of Fall River, Wis., brother of the groom, was the officiating minister and* he read the single ring ceremony in the presence of sixteen wedding guests. The couple were attended- by_Mr. and Mrs. Ed Beaty and as Miss Marjorie Zea, sister of the groom, played Lohengrin's wedding march the members of the wedding party took their places In the living room where the ceremony was performed. Following the ceremony Rev. Zea sang “O Promise Me,” accompanied at the piano by Tils wife.After congratulations had been extended to the couple a four course wedding dinner was served by Ha*’' cock's. Pink and white were the colors carried out in the decorations and beautiful bouquets of pink and white roses and ferns adorned thehome. .The bride was very clarming in a frock of cocoa colored canton crepe and she wore a corsage bouquet of roses, sweet peas and ferns. She is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. h.. F Chapin and has always resided in this city. She is a young lady of charming personality and has a large circle of friends. She attended Monmouth high school three years.The groom is the youngest son or Mr. and Mrs. Sherman L. Zea of 301 South Second street. He attended the high school nearly four years and is well known here. He later attended Brown’s Business college and is now employed as saleman with the Standard Oil company in Galesburg.The happy couple will make their home at 1077 North Board street, Galesburg and they have the sincere good wishes of their many friends.
