Rev. C. T. Douglass of the Baptist church performed the ceremony in the presence of friends and relatives, about fifty being present. The house was prettily decorated with roses and smilax, and in one corner of the room a canopy of peppers, smilax and bride’s roses was erected, under which the ceremony took place. The bridal party, headed by Mr. W. R. Simons and Miss Kate Simons of Los Angeles, the groomsman and bridesmaid, entered the parlor to the strains of Mendelsshon’s march. The bride wore a gown of white silk trimmed with lace and a garniture of seed pearls. Music was furnished by the Mandolin and Guitar club. After the ceremony an elaborate supper was served, and Mr. and Mrs. Fischbeck left for their new home in Sierra Madre. They were the recipients of many handsome presents.SOCIAL NOTES.Colonel A. P.
