A full dress wedding being an unusual event in the county, us early as live o’clock in the afternoon an expectant crowd began to uBScmble in the old building. At the appointed hour the bridesmaids. Misses Helen M. Lee, of 11cI Air; Blanche Haines, of 1'etershurg, Va.; Nellie Loney, of Baltimore; Agnes Jay, of Aberdeen, and Mamie and Fannie Davis, sisters of the bride, with the ushers. Dr. John Jay. of Baltimore, best man; Messrs. Septimus Davis, Barton Loney, Win. Dix, Janies ilartol and Phillips Hall preceded the couple to the altar.Their drilling had been thorough and they kept step perfectly with the music of Mendelssohn’s March, which was admirably rendered by Prof. and Mrs. Aschc.'iToldt. of Havre do Grace. Mr. Heptitmis Davis gave the bride away. She wore a combination dress of white cashmere and watered silk, with luce trimmiugs. on trulno, a long veil and orange blossoms. After the ceremony tin* bridal party with the invited guests repaired to Beivue, the family homestead, near Havre do Grace, whore moonlight, music, dancing and Mowers ended the evening. The bride and groom left Havre de draco on the midnight train for New York. Among those present at the church and at the reception were Mrs. Fannie Davis, Mr. and Mrs. J. II. Cochran, Jr., of the Cochran-Oler Ice Co.. of Baltimore, and of the llrm of Cochran A: Young, of Bel Air, was married in Baltimore, on the evening of the llth instant, to Miss Maggie Patterson, daughter of’I’. N. Patterson, of that city. The ceremony was performed by Dr. J. W. M. Williams, ut the bride's residence.
