The wedding of the popular young people was solemnized Saturday at St. Paul's Episcopal church in a doble ring, candlelight ceremony with Rev. Norval Holland officiating. The bride, the former Barbara June Harper, given in marriage by her father, Jess Harper, wore a deep rose silk dress with rhinestone trim and a matching hat. her corsage being pink rosebuds with blue-tipped white carnations. Her attendant, Mrs. W. W. Hunter, sister of the groom, wore a tailored silver-blue dress with pink carnations. Bill Elsey was best man. Following the wedding a reception was held at the Guild Hall.
