Mrs. Russell Jakeman is vis iting in Winnipeg this week. Shell River W.1. bazaar and tea Sat. 19th, is a must! Mrs. Frank Newton left on Monday for Victoria B.C., to visit her mother, Mrs. Cant well, Mrs. Geo. McNeill visited her sister, Mrs. Edwards, on Sun day. She was en route from Saskatoon to her home in Stony Mountain. Mrs. S. R. Stephenson and Mrs. J. Dagleish, of Unity, Sask., and Mrs. J. Carnie, of Winnipeg, are visiting her mo ther ,Mrs. Geo. Black. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy, Chase had as their guests last week their son Paul and daughter Mrs. Shiner, of Kelowna, B.C., and their son Tilo and daugh ter Mrs. Kay, of Newmarket, Ont. Joe Hopet and two sons, of Dana, Sask, are visiting their uncl and aunt Mr. and Mrs. F. Lefort. Mel Bowley left Wednesday to visit the McBurney family at Souris. Ms. R. Poyser, of Merridale, has spent the past three weeks with her son Raymond and daughter-in-law, at Edmonton. A quiet wedding was solem nized in Young Street United church, Winnipeg, Saturday, Oct. 15th, when Frances Jean only daughter of Mrs. I. J. Mc~ Intyre, Saltcoats, Sask., and the late Duncan McIntyre of Roblin, Man., was united in marriage to Mr. M. C. Malcolm of Sherridon, Man. Rev. W. E. Donnely officiated. Follow ing a motor trip through the States and points in Western Canada, Mr. and Mrs. Mal colm will reside at Sherridon.
