Her subject was “Loyalty and Friendship.”“Friendship involves three factors/' said Miss Belknap. “First, living up to our best; second, a friendly spirit toward humanity; and last, loyalty to our own friends. We must be true to the highest that is in us, for the greatest thing we can give our friend is ourself. And it is only when we are ready to be friends to many, that we can be a real friend to one/'PROF.
