Cpl. and Mrs. Roger GraefnitzMilitary Rites Join CoupleA military wedding at Crete’s Trinity Evangelical Lutheran church on September 16 united in marriage Miss Deborah Gaetano and Roger Graefnitz, U. S. Marine Corps.The bride, daughter of Mrs. Eleanore Gaetano of 5741 Alle-mong, Matteson, and the late Charles Gaetano, was presented in marriage by her brother, Charles A. Gaetano of New Lenox. Her bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. William Graefnitz of 71 East 227th place, Chicago Heights.The Rev. H. Curtis Lyon officiated at the 4 p.m. service which ended as the two mothers were presented with single roses by the newly married couple. During the ceremony, “0 Perfect Love,” “The Lord’s Prayer” and ‘‘Weeding Song” were sung by Mrs. Cheryl Kraemer, sister of the bridegroom.ENGLISH NET and Alencon lace fashioned Miss Gaetano's bridal gown, which featured a pearl-trimmed empire bodice with Queen Anne neckline and long slim sleeves and an A-line skirt, widely bordered in lace, that ended irva cathedraHength train. The same pearl-trimmed lace formed her Renaissance headpiece and encircled her silk illusion veil.For her bridal flowers, Miss Gaetano carried a cascade of white glamellias and gardenias interspersed with pink baby’s breath and bound with white streamers.Attending the bride were Denise Gaetano of Matteson, maidof honor, and bridesmaids Karen Glaze and Chervl Battaglin of Chicago, Susan Oaks and Rosa Gonzalez of Richton Park, and Sheila Fehland of Peotone. All wore pink organza dresses with bustle backs, pink picture hats and white wrist-length gloves. Natalie Gaetano of New Lenox, the flower girl, wore a pink chiffon frock trimmed with Alencon lace and a halo of flowers in her hair.DALE GRAEFNITZ of Chicago Heights was best man for his brother, who was also served by Ronnie Battaglin of Chicago, Roger Gluckleder of Steger, Robert Heinze of Chicago Heights, Bruce Fehland of Monee and Rodney Johnson of Tucson, Ariz. Ring bearer was Christopher Kraemer, nephew of the bridegroom.After their wedding reception at Condesa Del Mar restuar-ant, Alsip, the bridal couple left for Camp Lejeune, N.C., where Graefnitz, a Marine corporal, is now studying air conditioning and refrigeration. He entered the service after his 1976 graduation from Bloom high school, Chicago Heights, and returned from a tour of duty in Okinawa just prior to the wedding.The new Mrs. Graefnitz is a graduate of Rich South high school, Richton Park, and received her associate of arts degree from Chicago Heights’ Prairie State college. She was a cashier at Osco Drugs in Matteson’s Lincoln Mall before her marriage.
