Lucas-Louie.On Monday, Nov. 14, in the home of J. D. Edmundson in Des Moines, occurred the marriage of Emma G. Lucas of Council Bluffs, sister of exsenator Shirley Gillilland of this citv, and Mr; A. Louie, a wealthy Council Bluffs capitalist with extensive business interests in that city and the city of^Omaha.Mr. and Mrs. Louie left immediately for a thirty dav wedding trip:through the east. While in Washington, D. C. they will f be the guests of Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Carter, Mrs.: Carter being a niece of Mrs. Louie.Mr. Carter holds the important office of public printer under this administration.^ouie has been president of the board of managers of the Jennie Edmundson hospital in Council Bluffs and been in active service with that institution for more than thirty years. She has many friends in this city made by the frequent visits here in the home of her brother. Mr. and Mrs. Louie will continue to make their home in Council Bluffs.
