Announcement is made today of the engagement of Nicole Orton and Mikael Laughrey, both of Charlottesville, Virginia. Miss Orton is the daughter of Nancy Orton of Pittsfield and Douglas Orton of Pittsfield. Mr. Laughrey is the son of Katherine Frontera of Grey, Maine. A summer 2010 wedding is planned at The Cape Codder Resort in Hyannis, Mass. Miss Orton is a child and family therapist at the League of Therapists in Charlottesville.
