All wore white carnation corsages.Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the home. The bride’s table was laid with a white lace cloth bordered with wide lace. Orchid ribbon bows accented the corners.The three tiered wedding cake was white with sugar spun orchid flowers and a bride and groom under a wedding bell decorating the top. White mums flanked by white tapers formed the centerpiece.Miss Brenda Carlson, sister of the groom, served the punch, assisted by Miss Katherine Ulke, Mrs. Renee Smith of Corpus Christi, cousin of the groom.
