Doyles To Host Reception For Wedding In DanburySeveral Statesvillians will be attending the wedding of Miss Elisa Rodriguez and Gaines Ryland in Danbury, at 4 p.m. Saturday, November 19.Miss Rodriguez is the oldest daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Alberto Rodriguez, formerly of Statesville. She attended Mitchell College and was graduat-dist Church. He completed four years of service on the Mt. Airy Circuit in June and was appointed to the Danbury Charge.There are three other daughters in the Rodriguez family, Silvia, who is a freshman at Pfeiffer College; Maria Louisa and Lilian who attend schooled from High Point College in \ *n Danbury.1905. She teaches Spanish in the Mt. Airy Junior High School, Mt. Airy.Her fiance is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank R. Ryland, of Hollywood, Fla. He attended High Point College and received his degree in Business Administration from Memphis State University. He is now an assistant to the merchandizing manager at Quality Mills, Mt. Airy.The Rodriguez family came to Statesville in August of 1961 from Havana, Cuba under the sponsorship of the Broad Street { Methodist Church and made their home in Statesville for a year before Mr. Rodriguez became an approved supply pastor in the Western North Carolina Conference of the Metho-Mr. and Mrs. Howard Doyle, of Statesville, will be hosts for the reception following the wedding on Saturday afternoon at the Danbury parsonage.
