Landers, Aurora.Miss Devonna Holmes was maid of honor for her sister, while bridesmaids were her sorority sisters, Miss Lorris Behnke, Crystal Lake; Miss Gail Lothian, St. Charles, and Miss Babbi Mitchell, Berkeley.Carries RosesMiss McConoughey, given in marriage by her father, selected an ivory sata-peau gown accented with a ruffled flounce and cuffs of pink French silk organza. The yoke, sculptured collar and flounce were of reembroidered Alencon lace and lace marked the train. Tiny seed pearls accented the bodice. Her bouffant illusion veiling,and cathedral-length veil werecaught to a beaded latticework Camelot headpiece of Venise lace. She carried a cascade arrangement of bridal pink roses with a center of gardenias and a crescent of red roses. She also carried her mother’s Chantilly lace handerchief.Shelley Krisher, Peoria, was flower girl, and John Holmes, Elgin, was ringbearer.Guests, who later attended a dinner and dance reception at the Holiday Inn in North Aurora, were seated by J. Hartman, L. Harms, and K. Book.The newlyweds will live at 420 John St., Carlinville, after a wedding trip to New Orleans, La.Mrs. Salzman is a graduate of St. Edwards High School, Elgin, and Western Illinois University, where she was affiliated with Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority.
