Miss Patricia Lewis Becomes BrideiOf Joseph Thissell in Areata CeremonyIThe First Methodist church ofAreata was the setting for the marriage of Miss Patricia Ann Lewis of Trinidad, and Joseph Austin Thissell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Thissell, Eureka. The Rev. Byron Roberts officiated at the double-ring ceremony on Saturday, November 7, at 1:30 p.m.The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs Kenneth Lewis ofTrinidad, was given in marriageby her father.Members of the wedding party were Miss Sara Hall, maid of honor, the Misses Roberta Caldwell and Kathryn Caldwell, attendants: Charles Thisell, best man; Leroy Thissell and Jerry Tuba, ushers.Mrs. Ronald Creaghe of Trinidad was organist and Mrs. David Caldwell of Eureka wasvocalist.The bride wore a floor-length gown of Chantilly lace, with scalloped neckline, tiered skirt and kng sleeves, pointed at thewrists. Hei veil of pure silk was fingertip-length and attached to a tiara. For “something old” she wore a cameo necklace belonging to Mrs. Caldwell. She also carried out the traditions of something borrowed and something blue.
