E. King, 1104 W 5th St., became the bride of James W Hicklin, son of Mr. anil Mrs. Frank M. Hicklin. of Ranger, in an impressive wedding ceremony performed Sunday night. Nov. 10th, at the Methodist Church. The double ring ceremony was performed by Dr. S W. Hayne, pastor.For the exchange of wedding vows, the couple stood before a trellis, entwined with ivy, fern and w h i te chrysanthemums, white cathedral candles cm-branched candelabra flanked the central nuptial arrangement.Miss Frances Iee Harris, played “Claire De Lune” and during the recitation lt;f the wedding vows softly played “Always”She also provided the traditionalwedding marches.The bride, given in marriage, by her father, wort* an ice blue wool suit, with harmonizing trim. She wore black accessories and her corsage was white gardenias.Geron Holder and Charles Norman, cousins of the bride, were ushers and lighted the tapers inthe eandelabras preceeding the musical setting for the wedding.Miss Sara Jean Tadlock attended the bride as maid of honor. She wore a winter white wool dress with black accessories, and completed her costume with a shoulder corsage of pink carnations.The groom was attended by his father, Frank M. Hicklin. as best man.SucstNo.The bride is a graduate of Quanah High School and Dallas Methodist School of Nursing.The groom is a graduate of Ranger High School and attended Junior College. He served 17 months overseas. He holds the Purple Ht art, the Silver Star and Presidential Citation. Ht* is now a student of St. Paul’s Hospital. Dallas.The couple departed immediately after the reception for an undisclosed destination.
