Phyllis T ompt Weds In IowaExchanges Vows With Sergeant Luther WrightIn a recent ceremony performed in the Lutheran church in Mojave, Calif., Miss Phyllis Elaine Tompt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Tompt, 429 Ninth street south, became the bride of Staff Sergeant Luther Duane Wright, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. H. Lawcock, Arnolds Park, Iowa. The couple was attended by Sergeant Major and Mrs. Lloyd G. Green, Mojave.Sergeant and Mrs. Wright are residing in Mojave, where he is stationed at the marine corps i ' station. Mrs. Wright is a graduate of the Moorhead high school. She is a former student at MSTC and the Interstate Business college, and has been employed in Mojave. Sergeant Wright, a former student at Iowa State university at Ames, recently returned to the states after serving overseas for the past 16 months.
