Nov. 8.—A highmara was celebrated at the St. Benedict’s church at 8 o'clock Wednesday morning Nov. 5th when Mine Cecelia Marie Barth and Mr. George Kammerer were united in marriage. The maid of honor was Mira Lucile Kammerer, sister of the groom, and Mr. Hubert Barth, brother of the bride, acted as best man, Father Martin officiating.The bride wore a white satin and georgette crepe, her veil was held in place with a band of pearls and she carried a shower boquet of bride’s roses. The maid of honor wore an appricot pink crepe de chine, beaded in pearls and carried a shower boquet of Ward roses.After the ceremony an all day wedding was enjoyed at the home of the bride's parents. Mr.- and Mrs. August Barth, overs being laid for fifty.The out-of-town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Edgar N. Gauer of Terre Haute, .lake Barth of Louisville. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Barth. C- hall at 8:00 A. M. At. 10:00 o’clock a s ilemn high maw at St. Joseph’s church with a sermon by Rev. Michael Welland of Dubois. At I :UO o'clock the initiation took place in the Sf. Joseph's hall, the first and :econd degrees being conferred by the Jasper team, and third by Hon. Jos. M. Nurre and staff of Bloomington Ind. Bauer tied the nuptial knot thai made Edward Oser and Mira Mar-gareth Nord life companions.The attendants were Mira Olivia Nord and Mira Louise Oser, sister? of the bride and groom respectively.The bride was becomingly dressed in white silk, a tulle veil fastened with a spray of white armistice flowers, and carried a boquet of brides roses and ferns. The bridesmaids were gowned in pink silk and hats to match. The groom wore the conventional black.After the ceremony the newlyweds and attendants took breakfasl at the home of the bride, after which they repaired to the home of the groom at Ferdinand where an all-day celebration took place among a large circle of relatives and friends. In the evening a free dance was given in their honor at Barth’s hall.The groom is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Oser and is a very promising young man. Hia bride is the second youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Nord, and is a charming and lovable young lady.They will reside on the groom’s farm 1 1-2 miles west of town.May their path of married life be strewn with roses and be a long and happy one.
