Denise LaCross Is Wed To James L. GrimmerMiss Denise Michele LaCross, daughter of Mr and Mrs. LeRoy LaCross St.. 109 Broad St., Glens Kails, was married to James Lawrence Grimmer, son of Mrs. William Grimmer of Albany, at 1 pm.. Nov. 9, in St. Alphonsus Church.The Rev. Robert Purcell officiated Thhe altar was decorated with baskets of mixed flowers.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an antique white gown of satin trimmed with ivory lace. Her shoulder-length veil trimmed with seed pearls was in ivory, as was her lace train. She carried yellow tea roses on a white satin Bible.Mrs. Sharon Brown was her sister’s matron of honor She was gowned in royal blue velvet with ivroy lace trim and carried a colonial bouquet.Bridesmaids were Miss Ella LaCross. Mrs. RachellencihlpWright and Miss Karen Witte, all gowned in wine velvet The flower girl. MissMRS. JAMES GRIMMER (Chase Photo)Lorraine LaCross. was dressed in pink velvet.Joseph Ducharme was best man Ushers were LeRoy LaCross Jr.. William Kay and David DeBlois. Peter LaCross was ringbearer.A reception followed at the Sit 'n Bull Resort at Warrensburg. The couple will reside at 175 Sheridan Ave.. Albany, after Nov. 16.The bride is a 1970 graduate of Glens Falls High School and also a graduate of Adirondack Community College. She was formerly employed by Wagoner Business Equipment.Her husband, a 1968 graduate of Vincentian Institute. Albany, served two years in the Army. He is now employed as a lab technician by Kenneth E. Drautz and Associates, Albany.Pre-nuptial parties for the bride included two miscellaneous showers, one given by Sharon Brown and Ella LaCross. and the other by Kathy Holmes. Rachelle Wright. Debi Havens and Sue Thompson.
