X, are expected in Kokomo next Wednesday for a visit with the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs, O. Heilman, 301 West Broadway.On expiration of his leave, Lieutenant and Mrs. Heilman will leave for their new home in Washington, D. C., where he will become a member of the President's and capital honor guard.Mrs. Heilman is the daughter of Daniel Malay of. Jersey City, N, J,, and the late Mrs. Malay. She has been employed as a bookkeeper in Frankfurt, Germany, under a civil service appointment The couple’s wedding took place at St Boniface Cathedral, Bad Newbeim, Germany, August 6.Lieutenant Heilman entered service December 26, 1943, after grad- 11__ XTSsrV.The open house observance was set for November 20 with an invitation to be extended to all persons of Kokomo and Howard county who may wish to visit the house and see fete work that is being done there.The public is invited to Sunday school and- church services at. *30 o'clock in the morning and at 6:30 o’clock in the evening of the 20th and to the afternoon program which is being set up for the occasion. Displays of work and play and all activities which are carried on at the house will be shown and it is the hope'of the committees to better acquaint the public with Neighborhood House itself as well as its daily program of education and instruction. The planning committee for the open house is composed of Mes-dames W.. R, Morrison, Harry Pounder, Joe Stone and the public* Ity committee of Mesdamea Wilford Trottier, Willard Miller and Millard Hollingsworth.Mrs. Fred Stockdala was appointed assistant secretary for the remainder of the year to March and also led. devotions at the meeting. Mrs. Fred Clark opened the session with a prayer. Mrs. Sheldon Duec-ker, superintendent of Neighborhood House, gave a report on the attendance and various activities which have increased at the house since the Dueckers camo there a little more, than a year ago. \Mrs. Duecker reported that tho average attendance for the Sunday school in October was 94, which is the highest number ever attained.Delegates Named Mrs. Thomas Adams and Mrs. Chester Bennett will be delegates from Beatrice Rebekah lodge to a meeting at the LO.O.F. home at Greensburg, November 20.
