James Velie; who is in the party of Salamanca men, also shot a deer. He will return home Wednesday with the others of the party, who still are hoping for luck. .They are Ted Lowe and Rodney and Robert Clifford.Mrs. Stanley Ambuski, Mrs. John Spako and Mrs. Philip Bierfeldt held a variety- shower at the Holy Cross Atmeuc ciuo Sunday afternoon m honor of Miss Della Spako, who will be married to Joseph Kiskiel on Thanksgiving Day. Eighty were present. The afternoon was spent at ■cards, and lunch was served. The out-of-town guests included Mrs, WalterKainski and Misses Josephine, Veronica and Florence Fisher of Buffalo.The Woman’s society of Christian Service will meet in the league room in the First Methodist church Wednesday afternoon.
