Madison Gem City, Thursday, 6th.The newly wedded pair arrived in the city Thursday evening, and were tendered a reception at the home of the groom’s parents. Wm. took his many friends by surprise, but they are all glad to hear of his change of life. His bride is one of Ft. Madison’s amiable and accomplished young ladies, and will no doubt make an excellent helpmeet. Wm. is an energetic young farmer. They will reside on his farm east of the city. To them both we extend our best wishes for their happiness through life.
