Rock Falls, became the bride of William T. Lawler, son of Mr. and Mrs. WiUiam i Lawler. 504 Ave. C. Sterling. White gladioli were arranged in the altar vases.The Rev. Robert Sherry officiated. Music was provided by Miss Doris Chamberlain at the or an and Miss Gail Neighbour vocalist. During the offertory, the soloist sang “As Long As He Needs Me'* from Oliver, and “More” during the communion “Laura's Theme” from Dr. Zhivago was sung when flowers were taken to the Blessed Virgin Altar.The offertory procession in* eluded Mark and Gina Webb, and Peggy Lawler. Altar boys were Barney and Chuck Webb, brother and cousin of the bride. Greg Thome was lecturer.Miss Danis Prindaville was maid of honor and Terry Lawler served his brother as best man. Molly Lawler, the bridegroom’s sister, was junior bridesmaid and R J. Webb, brother of the bride, acted as ringbearer Ushering guests were Larry Ybarra and the bride's brother, Bill Webb The bride chose a full length empire style gown of powder blue crepe with an A-line skirt, matching lace covered bodice and long tapered lace sleeves.A lace train accented the dress. The bride’s headpiece was a bow and elbow length veil. She carried a bouquet of white rosebuds, carnations and stephan-otis.Matching floor length crepe gowns styled with a powder blue bodice and royal blue skirts were worn by the attendants. Small royal blue bows with short powder blue veils formed their headpieces. Each attendant carried a nosegay of light blue carnations and white pompons The bride’s mother selected a coat dress ensemble of bonded knit in a combination of beige and brown and matching accessories. A two piece dress ensemble of avocado green wool was worn with accessories to match by the bridegroom's mother. Their corsages were autumn mums.ReceptionA reception followed immediately in the home of the bride’s parents, where a buffet supper was also served. Rene and Cher Webb, sister and cousin of the bride, cut the cake, punch was served by Sue Webb, another cousin of the bride and Barb Wolfe.Names for the guest book, were registered by Gina Webb and Peggy Lawler, sisters of the bridal couple. At the gift table were Eileen Lawler and Kris Webb, also sisters.After a trip to Chicago, the newlyweds took up their residence in Rock Falls.Both bride and bridegroom are 1969 graduates of Newman • Central Catholic High Schooland are attending Sauk Valley 1 College. They plan to transfer to Northern Illinois University, DeKalb. in the fall of 1971._ Prior to her marriage, theSSSSSBBBSbride was honored with a personal shower given by the Misses Danis Prindaville. Doris Chamberlain and Marlene Di-dier; a miscellaneous shower by her sisters, the Misses Gina. Rene, Kris Webb, and Mrs. Ron Whitebread and Mrs. Robert Horn and an around-the-clock shower by the bridegroom’s sisters, the Misses Patricia and Eileen LawlerOut of town wedding guests were from Davenport, Clinton, Cedar Falls, Bernard, Cummings and Des Moines. Iowa; and Chicago .Macomb. Quincy, Dixon. Mt Carroll. Winthrop Harbor. DeKalb, Mt. Prospect, LaGrange and Arlington Heights.A rehearsal party was given by the bridegroom s parents in their home.P
