W illiam Cress ^Funeral services were held at * 'the Church of Christ in Center y. Point Sunday at 2 p. m., for William (Ben) Cress who died from ^ .a bullet wound at his home Thurs- a day afternoon. He is survived by hig wife and a foster son, Leo c Cress, of Center Point. W. C. Wil- y son officiated and burial was made ^ in the Center Point cemetery. Present were Mr, and Mrs. ] Robert Roseberry and family, and j Mr, and Mrs. Max Roseberry and 3 family, of Cedar Rapids, Mr. and lt;Mrs. Forrest Cress ,and family of ' near Toddville, Mr .and Mrs. Mark Roseberry and family, Mr .and Mrs. Austin Roseberry and Roy, lt;Mr. and Mrs. Bert Roseberry, Mrs. . Loretta Roseberry and Vernon and Shirley Roseberry, all of Center Point, Mr. and Mrs. Elgin received silver dollars as gifts. It was al~ jpo the 11th wedding anniversary Of Mr .and Mrs. Mark Roseberry and the birthday anniversaries of two others in the group. Refreshments were served.
