MASONRural Route No, 2 was given daily service on November 1, whichis highly appreciated by its patrons. Albert Lofstrom, carrier on this route, is also pleased at the new arrangement which means a sub stantial increase in pay.John Walsh, attorney for the Federal Trade Commission at Washington, D. C., made a speech at the town hall Frida}' evening, Mr. Walsh was formerly located at Washburn and is well known in this vicinity. He is a forceful speaker and no doubt will make some votes for the democratic* party, and regardless of politic^. Mr. Walsh has a host of friends here who turned out to hear him and appreciate his visit.Miss Agnes Anderson and Nels Reiten were united in marriage at the groom’s hom« here Saturday. Rev. Yderstad of the Norwegian Lutheran church officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. A ndrew A nderson and is a young ladv of estimable qualities. The groom is tne son of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Reiten. The many friends of the couple extend congratulations. A bout a hundred guests attended the wedding, the couple receiving many beautiful gifts.
