Skillings-BoswellAnnouncement is being made of the Sept. 12 marriage of Michelle Marie Skillings of Waterloo, and Timothy Adam Boswell of Cedar Falls,Parents of the couple are Richard and Patricia Skillings of Evansdale, and Jan Hagy-Boswell of Mesa, Anz., and C. David Boswell of Cedar Falls.Vows were exchanged at 2 p.m, at St. John’s Catholic Church with the Monsignor Cletus Hawes of St. Nicholas in Evansdale, officiating.Maid of honor was Donna Rhone of Waterloo. Bridesmaids were ■ Sheila Beal, sister of the bride, and Lea Ann Skillings, sister-in-law of the bride, both of Waterloo.Jim Weigel of Chandler, Ariz., was best man. Groomsmen were Scott Morgensen and.Troy Holm, both of Waterloo. .Flower girl was Lindsey Skillings, and ring bearer was Jayson Beal, niece and nephew of the bride respectively, both of Waterloo.Seating guests were Dan Sinnott of Dubuque, Mark Skillings and Mike Skilhngs, both of Waterloo, brothers of the bride.The bride is an administrative secretary for the City of Waterloo Park Commission, and the groom is a purchasing agent for Nelson and Ha°y Inc.They are residing in Waterloo.The family of the groom hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Waterloo Elks Club Sept. 11; Forty-six persons attended from Minnesota, Indiana, Nebraska, California and Arizona.A couples shower was given by Ron and Judy Brown and Butch and Nancy Leskun;at the Brown HomeMr. and Mrs. BoswellSept. 1 with 22 persons attending. A group gift was presented.On Aug. 22 a couples’ shower was hosted by Jeff and Janice Bresson, Dean and Paula Delagardelle, and Kay and Tim Ward at the Fourth Street Station, with 16 persons attending.A miscellaneous shower was given by Sheila Beal, Lea Ann Skillings and Kathy Skillings Aug. 16 at the Elk Run City Hall Community Room with 23 guests in attendance.Eighteen guests attended a personal shower on Aug. 2 hosted by Gail Briddle, Joyce Craft, Donna Cutler, Marlys Olmstead and Donna Rhone, at the Rhone home.A miscellaneous shower was given July 18 for 19 guests at Farmers State Bank Community Room in Jesup, hosted by Marguerite Walters, Bernice Beehner, Rosemary Traynor and Judy Ruston.
