Dannie Willis Weds Michael JohnsonThe marriage of Miss Dannie Ann Willis and Michael Johnson was solemnized Oct. 4 at the First United Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Thomas Melton officiated at the morning ceremony. Families of the bride and bridegroom were present.Attending the bride and bridegroom were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Johnson. Mr. Johnson is the brother of the bridegroom.The bride’s street-length dress was fashioned of ivory-white wool with a mandarin collar and A-line silhouette. Her only jewelry was an antique gold brooch, worn in many weddings in her mother’s family.Dannie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James L. Willis. 712 E. Gudgell.
