Kimen-Carmichael4Gail Carmichael, daughter’of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Robert Carmichael of Glen Ellyn, and Thomas Walter Kimen Jr., eon of the Thomas W. Kimens, 5127 Ellington ave., Western Springs, were married Oct. 6 in the First Presbyterian church at Glen Ellyn.The Rev. Lorenz Huenemann performed i the ceremony. Organ music before and during the service was played by Mrs. Marvin Olsen.The bride wore a dress of white dupioni *ilk apphqued with imported alencon lace and fashioned with fitted bodice, full skirt and chapel train. Her three tiered veil of French illusion WH6 held in a cloche of the alencon lace and she carried a cascade of white roses.Attendants, wearing antique gold chiffon dresses, were Miss Darlene Rhodus as maid of honor and the bride’s cousin. Mrs. Ronald Fraser, bridesmaid. They carried crescent bouquets of, gold satin duchess roses and green pit-tesporum.Mr. Kimen had Richard P. Tillack as his best man and the ushers were Robert Gafvert, Dan R. Carmichael Jr., Dean Coleman and Robert Romoser.The two mothers had white orchid corsages. Mrs. Carmichael wore a pale green satin sheath and Mrs. Kimen chose blue brocade.Joanne Kimen was in charge of the bridal register at the reception which was held at the Glen Oak Country club.After a honeymoon in the Smoky mountains the Junior Kimens are at home at 1153 Deer-field rd.f Deerfield,The brilt;Je~ is a graduate of ».Glenbard high school and Denispn university and is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She teaches in the Lake Bluff Elementary school.The bridegroom, a graduate4 of Lyons Township high school, has his BA degree from Michigan State and also did graduate work at Michigan. His fraternity is 9igma Chi. He is with the Northern Trust company in Chicago.On the night before the wedding, the bridegroom’s parents gave the rehearsal dinner at their home.
