Dawson.fI*he chancel of the church was lighted with cathedral candles and the niches banked with shademums in aihumn tones.The bride wore a gold wool dress with brown accessories; Her corsage was of talisman rosebuds and bouvardia. She was attended by Miss Lois Sanderson, who wore a violet dress with dusty rose accessories and a corsage of dusty rose mums. Sgt. Nichols was attended by Ray O’Connor, brother-in-law of the bride.Preceding the ceremony Mrs. Ximena. Davis, organist and friend of the bride, .gave a program in-, eluding 'Clair de Lune,” Schubert’s “Ave Maria,” followed by the “Recessional” by Mendelssohn.The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Emma P. Nichols Qf Cranston, R. I., and for several months has been stationed at Davis-Monthan airfield. He attended high school at Cranston and is a graduate Of the Rhode Island state college. He is a member of Lambda Chi Alpha.Mrs. Nichols is a graduate of the Pocahontas, high school and before going to the University of Arizona, attended junior college in Ft. Dodge. During the war Mrs. Nichols was active in the YWDL and is a charter . member of the Congregational house Hostess staff for servicemen's activities.Immediately following the ceremony Sgt. and Mrs. Nichols left for a trip, east, which will include a visit to his home in Cranston.
