Daniels, Oakner. Mrs. Doug. Dickie, Harvey,Mrs. Cushion and family, Mrs. Smith and Gordon, of Brandon, were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. Young over the week end.The community wish to extend | ^ their sympathy to Mr. Clark andfamily in the recent loss of a beloved son and brother, Sgt. Alex. Clark, killed in actionoverseas.A miscellaneous shower was|c held in the school on Wednesday evening in honor of Miss Ellen 11. Morris, a bride-elect of Nov. 4th. After a few- contests, Miss Dora Francis read a short address while Shirley Smithsonand Marlene Ross presented thegifts. After unwrapping the gifts, Tthe bride-to-be thankedthe guests in a few well chosen words. A dainty lunch broughtthe evening to a close.
