Phippen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Phippen, Route 1, Winthrop, Sept. 14, 1968.The Rev. Barbara Beaudry officiated at the double ring ceremony in the Parishville Union Church, Parishville. The church was decorated with fall shades of glads.Given in marriage by her father the bride wore a gown of chantilly lace fashioned with a fitted bodice, Sabrina neckline and bell sleeves. The tiered bouffant skirt swept into a chapel train. A caplet of chantiltv netals highlighted with pearls held her bouffant veil of imported illusion. She carried a cascade of white carnations stepfyanotis and pink and garnet: sweetheart roses centered with a corsage of roses.Mrs. Suzanne Tupper was her sister’s Matron of honor. Her gown was floor length of turquoise crepe over taffeta fashioned with a chantilly bodice, with short sleeves and a floating panel back. Daisy clusters held her illusion veil. She carried a crescent of yellow and mauve poms.Bridesmaids were Mrs. Lu-cette Wilcox, Mrs. Louise Bi-notto, sisters of the bride, Mrs. Robert Phippen, sister-in-law of the bridegroom and Mrs. Sue Tyler and Miss Linda Wolfe. They were attired In gold gowns and head pieces identical to that of the matron of honors. A showery moon crescent of mauve poms and bird red roses completed their ensembles.Flower girl was Anne Wilcox, niece of the bride, her dress was fashioned by her mother and matched that of the matron of honor. She carried a net basket of yellow and bronze poms.Robert Phippen, brother of the bridegroom was best man. Ushers were Harold C. Phippen, brother of the bridegroom, Dale Sevey, Brother-in-law of the bridegroom, William Meashaw, David Tyler and Roswell Cassida Jr.Ring bearers were Donald and David Sevey, twin nep hews of the bridegroom.For her daughters wedding, Mrs. De Carr chose a blue velvet dress and Mrs. Phio-pen wore a light turquoise suit. A poached egg cooked till it resembles a rubber ball and then placed upon some soggy toast is most definitely not something fit for a gourmet, Yet the choice of food is the same in both cases.
