A. „ Fesperman, D.D., an old friend of ^ the family, officiated as the coupl§ ^ repeated their marriage vows, j using the doubts ring ceremony. c With Mrs. Helen Beaebley at the r organ, Miss Mary Lou Potterfield sang “Always” and “I Love You Truly.” JGiven in marriage by her father, * the bride wore a corsage of orchids ^ with her dark green two piece ^ . dress and-, black accessories.-The bride’s sister, Lt. Phyllis ( A. Couchman, ANC, Station Hos- ^ pital, Hdgewood Arsenal, wag maid of honor and wore a corsage of gar- t denias. Larry Middleton, of Frost- j burg, -was best man for the bridegroom, and Lt Ray Webb, of Des Moines, la., was the usher. cThe bride’s mother pinned a cor- -j sage of pink rosebuds to her black dress trimmed in pink. The bride- j groom’s mother chose a corsage of 1 tailsman roses to wear with her brown suit.Following the ceremony a buffet | luncheon was served at the bride’s parents for out-of-town guests. Mrs. Fred Lillard and daughter Betty Ann, assisted.For traveling the bride changed to a pastel' wool suit with black : accessories. They are spending 1 their honeymoon in New York City. ;A graduate of the Hagerstown High School, Mrs. Brode received her B.S. degree from the State : Normal School, Frostburg, and she holds credits for voice from the same institution.Son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph W. Brode, Frostburg, the bridegroom is also a graduate of the Frostburg State Normal School. He trained for the Marine Corps at Parris Island, S. C., and was a star on the I Marine basketball team. After i special training he was given the \ honor of seeing service aboard the t ITSS Missouri.
