Matilda Paul Weds Ray L. BurbankIn a double* ring ceremony at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon In the Congregational church, Iowa City, Miss Matilda May Paul, duaghter of Mrs. Rosa F. Paul, became the bride of Mr. Ray LeVere Burbank, Oxford. The Rev. Mr. Llewelyn Owen officiated.Attending the bride were the bride's sister, Miss Pauline Paul, as maid of honor, and Miss Sylvia Burbank, niece of the bridegroom, and Miss Shirley Campbell, niece of the bride, as bridesmaids. Best man was Mr, Douglas Harrington of Oxford, and ushers were Mr. David Petrzelka and Mr. Lawrence F. plotz. Serving as flower girls were Theresa and Mary Jean Plotz and the two • rlngbearers were Garry Birdsalt and Paul Morsch.The bride was dresed in a gown of imported cream silk canton crepe and her fingertip veil was imported embroidered net falling from a crown ofseed pearls. Her flowers were white chrysanthemums.The maid of honor was attired in a pink floor-length gown while Miss Burbank wore an orchid dress and Miss Campbell was dressed in a rose pink gown. Miss Paul wore a corsage of yellow chrysanthemums, while the bridesmaids carried bocquets of the same flowers.The flower girls were dressed in white satin dresses and carried yellow baskets filled with pink flowers tied with pink bows and the ringbearers wore white satin blouses and dark velvet trousers. They carried the rings on black velvet cushions. Mrs. Paul chose a black and white dress and her flowers were yellow pompoms.Eighty guests attended the wedding dinner at Youde’s Inn. Judge James T. Gaffney served as master of ceremonies and included on the program were violin and piano accordian- music by Mr. Sam Cortimiglin nnd Mr. 1.60
