A Young- Coupl© Went to Yeraassee Yesterday and Came Back Married.A repetition of the old, old story, of love's triumph in spite of parents’ protests, came to light yesterday.Mr. Herman Murken, son of ex-Poliee-man Murken, who now lives at Williamand Farm streets, and Miss Mamie Agnes Light body, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Light body, are the parties concerned. For some time the young man, i who is a tinner in the employ of Mr. James Douglass, has been alt ntive to Miss Light body, but Murken’s father objected to the proposed alliance as, he said, his son was ouiy 17 years old and tooyoung to marry. ~ ,Murken, lunvew r. said he was 21. lit*was determined to have his own way in I spite of bis father's protest, and yesterday morning he and Miss Lightoody took j the 7 o'clock train for Yem a see, where ! they were married by the Rev. L. K. Bollinger, of the All-Saints Episcopal church.The * were married about 11 :) yesterday morning, and took the next train back lo the city, arriving here last night, when ; they went to the home of Mrs. Murken s) parents.
