CeremonyDebra Joan Williams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard William Williams, Vassar, and Barry Stephen Lysaught, son of Mrs. Lorraine Lysaught, 1312 Maple, were united in marriage Oct. 22, at the Ottawa Bible Church. Rev. Larry Pilkington performed the candlelight ceremony. Music was provided by Marilyn Teter, organist.The bride wore a gown fashioned by her mother with a bodice made from lace belonging to her great-great-grandmother. The train and pleated cumberbund were of knit, off-white quiana. She carried a lace fan with wheat, bunny tails, straw flowers and baby’s breath.Miss Wynne Angell, Phoenix, Ariz,, served as maid of honor and the bridesmaids were Mrs. Keith Bones, Tulsa, Okla. and Susan Brooks, Phoenix, They wore long rust colored gowns and carried silk roses, wheat and baby’s breath.Brother of the groom, Mark Lysaught, Emporia, served as best man and the groomsmen were Steve Rybolt, Ottawa and Rick Williams, Vassar, brother of the bride. The ushers were Richard Johnson, Topeka and Keith Bones, Tulsa.Following the ceremony a reception was given at the church with hostess, Mrs. Eldon Mounkes, Lyndon, assisted by Brenda Robertson, Mrs. Joel Nichols and Mrs. Alden Cearfoss.Following a wedding trip to Oklahoma, the couple is at home in Ottawa. The bride and groom each graduated from Ottawa High School. Lysaught attended Kansas State, Emporia. He is employed at the Pamida Discount.
