McDaniel -A lexanderVows RepeatedMr. and Mrs. Ronald Lynn Alexander are at home in Lov-ington after their marriage October 14 at 7 o'clock in the evening at First United MethodistChurch. Rev. Edwin Chappell, church pastor, read the doublering vows.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn E. McDaniel and is the former Jean ElaineMcDaniel. Former residents ofLovington, the family now resides in Big Spring, Texas.The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Eston Alexander of McDonald.Serving as best man was Ricky Ballard and Miss Jackie Goff of Prairieview was maid of honor. Miss Lori Alexander sister of the bridegroom, was flower girl. Ushers and candle-lighters were Kevin McDaniel of Big Spring and Marlon Alexander, brothers of the young couple.Altar of the church was enhanced with tall candlebra holding pyramids of lighted papers, and entwined with greenery. Tapers were white.Miss Linda McGuiness was organist and played traditional selections.The bride was escorted byher fatherFor her wedding, she selected a floor length gown of Irish lace over net, with a scallopedneckline and long fitted sleeves. The fitted bodice was emphasized by the bouffant skirt. Her shoulder length veil was attached to a petal cap and she carried white roses.Her wedding gown was something old, and was given her by a friend of the family. New was her veil and shoes and blue was her garter. She wore pennies in her shoes, signifying birth years of the couple.Maid of honor was attired in a floor length ensemble designed with flowing sleeves square neckline, and a sheer empire waistline. She wore a white carnation corsage tied with purple ribbon.Flower girl wore a purple floor length dress with empire waistline and elbow length sleeves. She carried a white net basket with purple carnation petals.Mother of the bride chose a two-piece blue print suit with long sleeves and accented by a blue blouse for the wedding. Mother of the bridegroom was attired in a dark blue print, ensemble. Both wore corsagesof white carnations tied in mir.Ipie ribbon.A reception followed the ceremony in the fellowship hall of the church.Miss Suelyn Speegle presided at the guest book.Serving table was enhanced with purple flowers and candles and the three tiered wedding cake which was decorated with white frosting and purple roses. Grape punch was served with the cake.Mrs. Randy Sevier and Mrs. Steve Marrs presided at the serving table.For a wedding trip to Rui-doso, the bride selected a purple knit pants suit with matching purple shoes.The bride completed 10th grade in Lovington and attended Big Spring High School for one year. The bridegroom was graduated from Lovington High School in 1970. He is employed at Gibson’s Discount Center.Japan signed terms ofsurrender in World War II on Sept. 2, 1945 aboard thebattleship Missouri..sx.y., *• ? % v.*,v/V* •
