Mr. and Mrs. Lesley MuzziSpecialMuzzis honored on anniversarySHAW—Mr. and Mrs. Lesley Muzzi were honored on Sunday with a Golden Wedding celebration reception held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic church. Hosts were the couple’s four daughters and son and their husbands and wife. The reception was a surprise io Mr. and Mrs. Muzzi, who were taken to the Parish Hail at the appointed hour by one of their daughters.Mrs. Muzzi wore a pale blue knit dress made along princess lines. She was presented with a white orchid corsage with accents of gold leaves, and Mr. Muzzi was given a white carnation boutonniere.The Rev. Father Charles Loyacono renewed their wedding vows and presented them with blessed rosaries. Organ music was provided by James Robinson during the reception.Mr. and Mrs. Muzzi were married on Oct. 29, 1921 at Indiunola in the Catholic church there, which has since been demolished. She is the former Annie Rossetti. They have lived near Shaw in Sunflower County all of their married life, living in the same place. Their original home was torn down, and theirpresent home was built on the same location. Mr. Muzzi is a retired farmer.The Parish Hall was decorated throughout • in a gold and white theme. The refreshment iable, overlaid with a white linen outwork doth was centered with a four tiered cake encircled with gold leaves, while doves, and white wedding bells. Topping the cake was a Golden 50th Anniversary wreath, decored with while hearts and doves. On each end of the table were twin gold candelabra with gold candles. An adjoining table decored in a simitar manner held the punch service.Hosts were Mrs. W. T. (Vickie) Hamilton and Dr. Hamilton, and Mrs. L. P. (Zinnte) Bueno and Dr. Bueno, all of Memphis; Mrs. Vito (Stella) Durastanti and Mr. Durastanti, Mrs. Henry (Josephine) ReginelKi and Mr. Reginelli, and Jimmy Boyd MuzzL and Mrs. Muzzi, all of Shaw. The couple have eight grandchildren.Members of the family assisted in serving. Guests attended from Memphis, Clarksdale, Shelby, Cleveland, Leland, Greenville, In-duinola, Holly Ridge, and Boyle. Some 125 guests called during the appointed hours.
