Ilene Dixon and Rev. E. Rockst ad Speak Vows HereNuptial vow* were exchanged lastnight between Mi*s Ilene Dixon, daughter of Mr. and Mr*. G. C. Dixon, and the Rev. Ernest B. Rockst ad, pastor of the Bethany Covenant church of Brainerd. The Rev. Carl Johnson of Foley officiated at the ceremony, which took place at 8:20 In the Bethany Covenant church. The service was read by candlelight. Large beautiful bouquets of pompoms and fern bankeu the altar. Gordon Egertson of Minneapolis sang “Beloved” and 'Havs Thine Own Way Lord. He was accompanied by Mrs. Kenneth Anderson.The bride was attired in a floor length gown of white taffeta It was fashioned princess style with a sweetheart neckline and leg-o-rnutton sleeves. Her veil extended to the floor and was caught at the top with a halo of seed pearls. She carried A bouquet of red roses.Miss Frances Sartweli of Pequot Lakes served as bridesmaid. She chose a pink taffeta floor length gown with a full skirt and tight bodice. She carried a colonial bouquet of small roses.Flower girl was Miss Angela Stay, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Werner Stay of Brainerd. She wore a shell pink taffeta full length dress trimmed in blue ribbons, and a matching blue bonnet. She carried chrysanthemums and petals in a flower basket used by the flower girl at her mother's wedding.Earl Duame acted aa best man. Ushers were Gene Swanson of Brainerd and Clarence Solberg of J St. Paul.Mrs. Dixon was attired in a green silk street length dress with matching accessories She wore a corsage of red rose*. 1A reception w’as held in the base 1 ment of the Bethany Covenant 1 church following the ceremony for ! 150 guests. Burning white candles, ] crepe paper streamers wound t around the pillars and crepe paper • roses in the conner of the tables consisted of the decorations. Red roses adorned each table and were laid around the three tier wedding cake.Out-of-town guests included the Rev. Ward Williams of Little Fall, and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Lindstrom of Tacoma, Wash.The newly married couple left for a few days’ visit in Thief River rails. They plan to reside in the church parsonage.
