Announcement has been made of the engagement of Miss Susan M. Pettit, the oniy daughter of E. E. Pettit of 217 Barney street, of this city to 13. P. Steinel of Milwaukee, the marriage to take place within the near future. Both of the young peo-plo are well known in this city. Miss Pettit has for several years been one of the leading socity girls of Waukesha, while Mr. Steinei has participated in a number of foot ball contests in this city during the past few years. At present he is connected with the Milwaukee Daily News, being in charge of the sporting department of that paper.
