There were 208 posters entered, from11 schools in the county.Participating were Rome, St Marys, Summersviile, Bluford Grand Prairie, Farrington Woodlawn, Dodds, Ina, Horace Mann and West Salem. Judges were Mrs. Roy Whisenhunt Belle Rive and Mrs. Marilyr Buch, Mt. Vernon.Top award went to Gay Gar ren, R. R. 1, Dix, age 13, grade 8 a student at Rome School The award was given by Coun try Companies.
