) TS208 Students InPoster ContestIS'itiFood posters drawn by grade school students have been jud ged in the contest sponsored each year by the Farm Bureau Women’s Committee. There were 208 posters entered, from11 schools in the county.Participating were Rome, St Marys, Summersviile, Bluford Grand Prairie, Farrington Woodlawn, Dodds, Ina, Horace Mann and West Salem. Judges were Mrs. Roy Whisenhunt Belle Rive and Mrs. Marilyr Buch, Mt. Vernon.Top award went to Gay Gar ren, R. R. 1, Dix, age 13, grade 8 a student at Rome School The award was given by Coun try Companies. Garren’s postei will be entered in District 6 the winner to represent the aree for top state honors at the an nual meeting of Illinois Agricul ure Association in Chicago the week of November 17.Other winners were Patt; Phillips, R. 6, Mt.
