Lewis in a ceremony on Saturday, October 22, at 6 30 p. m. in the Church of Christ at Grover Hill. The Rev. Robert Bryan performed the double ring rite which was attended by immediate family members.The bride is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Jenkins of Van Wert RFD 2. and the bridegroom is a son of Mrs. Fara Lewis of Middle Point and the late John Lewis.The bride’s wedding ensemble was a street length dress in soldier blue acrilan jersey. The softly softly bloused bodice was styled with a draped loop collar and three quarters length sleeves. With its she wore a black velvet and satin draped pill box. Her pearl necklace and earrings were her gift from the bridegroom. Her corsage was of red rose buds.Mr. and Mrs. Lewis have gone to Fort Benning, Ga. where the former has completed basic Army training. end is now to report for duty.The bride attended Hoaglin-Jackson High School and the bridegroom was graduated from Van Dan Del High School.The bride’s parents entertained at dinner Sunday in honor of the newlyweds and had as guests Mrs. Fara Lewis and daughter, Sharon. Mrs. Richard Lewis and sons of Middle Point; Mr. and Mrs. Lee Ross, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. George Crone and daughters of Grover Hill; Mr. and Mrs. Lee Ross, Jr.. of Defiance and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Long and children.Sunday evening they entertained other guests and served ice cream and cake for refreshments. The Sunday evening guests were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hoverman. Miss Bettilou Jenkins. Richard Lewis. Mr. and Mrs, Wilmer Finger and children, Gordon and Karen. Mr. and Mrs Wayne Keysor and daughters and Mrs. Bernice Brotherwood.Mr. and Mrs Harold Jenkins and family were Sunday afternoon callers in the Jenkins home.
