Miss Nona L. Parks,eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Parks, became the bride of Mr. Henry C.Whiteford, of Whiteford, Md., Thursday. The marriage was solemnized at the bride’s home at 10:30, the ceremony being performed by Rev. A. W. Mather, of Laurel, Del. The bride wore a going-a-way gown of pigeon blue. Mr. Whiteford is one of the leading members of the American Canning Association, and is largely engaged m fruit growing. He was graduated from the Maryland Agricultural College, and is connected with it as a State lecturer. Mr. and Mrs. Whiteford took the northern express for Washington, thence they will go to Luray Caverns and Natural Bridge. They will travel through the summer, and expect to spend next winter in the South. Mr. and Mrs. Scott Whiteford, the parents of the groom, were here for the marriage.
