Married.i *1 SCHACHTSCHNEIDER—STRICKERAn the Norwegian Lutheran church on Sunday afternoon, October 29, 1911, in the presence of a large assembly ofi relatives and friends, Rev. J. C. Spil-| man, of the German Lutheran church, performed the marriage ceremony that ; united as man and wife Mr. Ludwig ! Sehachtschneider and Miss Meta Strieker.! After the ceremony the wedding , party repaired to the residence of the i bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. F.| Strieker, where a reception was tendered the newly wedded couple and the event duly celebrated, about one hundred guests being present. The couplewere attended by Arthur Schachtsch-neider, brother of the groom and Miss Elsie Strieker, sister of the bride. The bride was handsomely gowned in cream silk with messaline and beaded trimming and carried bride's roses.Both bride and groom have always lived here and have a large circle of friends. The bride is a member of the Young Ladies society of the German church. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. L. Schachtsceneider, is a young man of good habits, industrious ! and worthy in every respect of the | young lady whom he has chosen as a companion adown life's pathway.The couple received many valuableresents. The out of town guests were: ohn Gessert and wife, Mrs. Henry Pilzner and Mrs. John Lehman from Watertown; Albert Strieker and wifeand Mrs. William Sehachtschneider ofJ anesville township.The young couple will make this city their home and will commence housekeeping in about a month.s
