Angel-Barkey rites readMRS FAULG BARKEY Mma Studio (KATHLEEN SUE ANGEL)St Anthony R C Church of Monongahela was the setting for the wedding of Kathleen Sue Angel, daughter of Mr and Mrs John A Angel Jr of5 Monongahela, andPaulG Barkey He is the son of Mr and Mrs Joseph Barkey Jr of R D 2 Monongahela The couple exchanged vows and double rings before the Rev Edwin Kaczmenck at l pmRick Miller, organist and vocalist, presented “Ave Maria,” If ” ‘The Wedding Song, “Evergreen,’ “I Believe,” “Sunrise, Sunset,” and “The Wedding March ” The bride chose a long gown of candlelight organza over peau wjth French alencon lace trim studded mv it h seed pearls and crystals The gown was styled with a U neckline, long fitted sleeves a hi rise silhouette, and A-line skirt with attached cathedral train The neckline sleeve edge, skirl edge and tram was enhanced with pearl studded lace and crystals She wore a matching lace camelot to hold her long trailing veil with lace motifs and a blusher She carried an oval bouquet of gardenias slephanotis and stance*Anna Marie Bury was her sister s honor matron She wore a long gown of romance blue interlock knit with a U neckline long kubecki sleeves and a hi-nse silhouette with a matching cloche with side rosette She earned a bouquet of miniature white carnations with blueslatiee Bridesmaids, who were identically attired were Lisa Ripepi Michele Moreschi Cathy Ripepi, Angela Piscitelli cousins of the bride Rhonda Barkey Theresa D’Amico cousins of the groom and Robin DiBease Flower girl was Jennifer Budner cousin of the bride Her ensemble was simdar to those of the adults, and her gown and hat were made by Anna Mane Bury They all wore monogrammed necklaces and carried per sonahzed handmade clutch bags, gifts from the bride John Barkey cousin of the groom, was best man Ushers were James J Revetta Jr , Sam Quatlrone Anthony Piscitelli, cousins of the brtde, Jim Barkey Terry Barkey cousins of the gi oom William Bury brother in law of the bnae and Joseph Roslcheck Rmgbearer was Eric Quatlrone cousin of the bride He carried a pillow made by Anna Mane Bury The bride carried a blue lace handkerchief earned by her mother and sister on their wedding days Her diamond cross necklace was a gift of Ihe groom and her gold earrings belonged to her grandmother Her father presented her with a sixpence to wear in her shoe Laureen Ripepi and Carolyn Bolias were rice girls and attending the guest book were Sheila PascarelJa and Kathy Kepscynski Upon approaching the altar the briae presented her mother with a long stemmed red rose when leaving the altar she made a similar presentation to the groom’s mother Honored guests at thewedding were the bride’s maternal grandmother, Catherine Quattrone the groom’s grandmothers, Mary Barkey and Ellen Dee, the bride’s godparents.Mr and Mrs James Revetta Sr , and Mrs Terry Kralofil and the grooms godparents, Mrs Dorothy Haller Joseph Kikla and Mrs Steve BarkeyThe reception for 700 per sons was at the Washington Twp Fire Hall, and dance music was by the Ghilan* BandPre-nuptial events included a bridal shower given by the bride’s sister, Anna Mane, in the home of Angela Piscitelli The best man entertained forthe groom at a bachelor party, and the groom’s parents gave the rehearsal dinner at The Maples, Charleroj The newlyweds went to Disney World, Orlando,Florida for their honeymoon and are residing in their apartment in R D 3 Monongahela The bnde graduated from Elizabeth Forward High School and Pittsburgh Beauly Academy in Charleroi She is employed m Kogei’s Beauly Salon, Monongahela Thegroom graduated fromMonongahela High Schoolserved with the U S Army in Vietnam, and is employed at Combustion Engineering IncMake our place. “Your Place”ESTAURAN• •Our dining area offers the atmosphere you like . . our menu the taste-tempting foods you love...
