ENGAGEMENT IS ANNOUNCED- Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie F. Mesa, 803 South Teresa, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Arlinda, to Isreal Valencia, son of Mr. and Mrs. Torbio Valencia, 408 West Fourth. The marriage will take place at 7:30 the evening of Saturday, November 27, at First Baptist Church with Reverend Kenneth Andress officiating.Miss Mesa and Mr. Valencia are graduates of Monahans High School and are students at Sul Ross State University. She is a second semester freshman with Music as her major and he is a sophomore business major.
